Squidward usually lives alone, but in "The Great Snail Race," he adopts a pet snail named Snellie. In "Can You Spare a Dime?," Squidward winds up homeless after quitting his job until SpongeBob finds him living in a cardboard box and takes him into his house. Squidward almost becomes homeless again in "Giant Squidward," when he turns into a giant. In the episode "Good Neighbors," Squidward's house becomes a living robot (due to a security system) and terrorizes Bikini Bottom. This is also due to the fact that they often don’t see how annoying they are even when Squidward asks for piece and quiet.
